Mohanlal looks soo handsome in this film.Mohanlal plays lead character OMR, an affluent NRI who does oil business in Singapore. The movie begins on a new year before when the "Red chillies" an all girls music band with 9 members are involved in an accident. Fossilized, the girls flee from place to leave their cars behind. Moreover, the girls work for Omar and it was his car they run around.
OMR is forced to come down to India. As a mystery booklet and several other characters come to light, including a Panchayat President portrayed by Thilakan is irked by a land contract that has not been realized and several others. On the trail of the case, four policemen, played by Siddique,Vijayaraghavan, Biju Menon and Ganesh.

Mohanlal is the most flexible actor and Shaji Kailas the most stylish director.But even a combo of both of them could not account for the flawed script from A K Sajan.
The movie is overdosed with technology,be it in cinematography editing or in background score....The biggest highlight of the movie is of course the Don OMR played by Mohanlal,And as usual Mohanlal delivers a brilliant performance.. He is handsome and stylish.
Take Mohanlal away from the movie.. OMR is everything a first day first show Mohanlal fan needs from there icon. It seems his presence is the only factor that makes the movie watchable to some extent at least.The flaws are numerous. Shaji's camera keeps shifting focus here and there (giving us the cinematographer was drunk) and we loose track of what is happening. And Samjith has increased the confusion with some very technical but highly unaesthetic editing. But they have been successful in hiding the absence of a storyline. Then there are the girls the band Red Chillies(resembles Mirchi Girls from the previous Shaji Kailas AK Sajan venture Chintamoni kolacase) all of them bad actors including the singer Renjini Jose who plays Anna Bella..These girls could be easily taken off the plot.. they dont do anything except add a bit glamor to the plot(actually there is no need for this either as Lal is too glamorous you wont notice the girls). Actors like Siddique,Thilakan etc are cast only to boost the hero image of Lal.
Thilakan also acts in a different role oin this movie...
Finally it will be an other Hit from Lalettan... A pakka Lal movie ...

Congress leader Oommen Chandy said that the party's decision to avoid young leaders from Congress candidate list for Lokh Sabha Election is a well thought out tactics to strengthen the party. Not to consider P.C.C presidents, Youth Congress presidents and N.S.U presidents as candidates is a top-level resolution by the Congress Central Committee. It is the reason why Hibi Eden and T.Siddique were not given candidature, Chandy said. The ire against the omission of some youth leaders who were strongly expected to figure in the list led to open protests. This Story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs. He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more. He recruited few more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove.
As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father.
Then something strange happened.
The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."
The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic.
He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly, same is the profit.
The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."
Moral of The Story: Its all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think ………………

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: പഞ്ചായത്ത് സെക്രട്ടറിമാര്ക്ക് പെന്ഷന് അനുകൂല്യം സര്ക്കാര് നല്കുന്ന കാര്യം പരിഗണിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പാലോളി മുഹമ്മദ്കുട്ടി നിയമസഭയില് അറിയിച്ചു. പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്ക്കുള്ള പദ്ധതിവിഹിതം 60 ശതമാനത്തോളം ചെലവഴിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞതായും തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ മന്ത്രി ചോദ്യോത്തരവേളയില് അറിയിച്ചു.

ഡോളറിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത കൂടിയതോടെ രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും താഴ്ന്ന നിലയിലെത്തി. വിദേശനാണ്യ വിപണിയില് ഡോളര് മൂല്യം 51.94 രൂപയിലെത്തി.
വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചത്തെക്കാള് 84 പൈസയുടെ വ്യത്യാസം. 51.50-ലാണ് വ്യാപാരം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. തുടര്ച്ചയായ ആറാം ദിവസമാണ് രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം ഇടിയുന്നത്. വിദേശനിക്ഷേപക സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള് ഇന്ത്യയിലുള്ള നിക്ഷേപം വന്തോതില് പിന്വലിക്കുന്നതാണ് രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം ഇടിയാനുള്ള മുഖ്യ കാരണം. മറ്റ് കറന്സികള്ക്കെതിരെയും ഡോളര് ശക്തമായ നിലയിലാണ്. രാജ്യത്തെ കയറ്റുമതി തുടര്ച്ചയായി നാലാം മാസവും കുറഞ്ഞതും തിരിച്ചടിയായി.
ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ഡിസംബര് രണ്ടിന് വിനിമയ മൂല്യം ഒരവസരത്തില് 50.60 രൂപയിലെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഇതായിരുന്നു ഇതുവരെയുള്ള ഏറ്റവും താഴ്ന്ന മൂല്യം.

ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ഡിസംബര് രണ്ടിന് വിനിമയ മൂല്യം ഒരവസരത്തില് 50.60 രൂപയിലെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഇതായിരുന്നു ഇതുവരെയുള്ള ഏറ്റവും താഴ്ന്ന മൂല്യം.
