Bineesh Kodiyeri, son of Home Minister and CPM member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan today tied the knot with Rineeta, daughter of Pradeep and Mini at a function held at the Mascot Hotel this morning.
The function earlier decided to be a ring exchange one turned into a marriage. Only when Minister Kodiyeri announced that the function will turn into a marriage, everybody knew about it. Both the families had decided to conduct the marriage today itself. Bineesh tied the ‘thali’ and after that both exchanged rings.
Senior leader K Karunakaran, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan and many other top politicians were present for the function. Only close relatives of both the families were invited.
Soon after the marriage, a sadya was served. The bride, a student of Mar Ivanious College is a close relative of Padmaja Venugopal, daughter of Karunakaran. Bineesh Kodiyeri is the vice president of Ravi Pillai Group of Companies in Dubai.
